Horror thrives on the private moment: the thing only one investigator saw, the letter only one pair of hands may open. Séance Table lets the Keeper convey a message to a single sitter, unseen and unsuspected by the rest of the table.
Handouts can be revealed to one soul alone, and the worst sanity effects arrive privately — whispers and reeling visions only the afflicted receive, while their companions watch an ordinary evening.
The rest of the circle sees nothing. That is rather the point.
