Creatures come statted for the fight: hit points, armour, attacks with damage, and the sanity cost of merely looking at them — presets for the classics, freely editable for your own horrors.
Every NPC can step onto the stage with a portrait, be met, be fought, and be pinned to the clue board when the investigators start connecting faces.
