Letters arrive for guests who never gave their names
Per-investigator handouts
Some clues belong to everyone. Some belong to one pair of hands. Séance Table lets the Keeper reveal a handout to the whole table or a single investigator — photographs, letters, deeds, confessions — and what one player reads, another may never see.
Handouts appear in the theatre the moment they are given, land in each player's own collection, and stay readable between sittings. Markdown text or full images, with a viewer that fills the screen when a document deserves it.
Secrets drive mysteries. When each investigator holds a different piece of the truth, the table has to talk — and that conversation is the game.
More from the house:
The voice was not his own Scenery that moves of its own accord Red string found spanning the boarding-house wall He alone heard the whispering One hundred faces on the wheel "I merely wrote what the room told me" Spiritualists convene across impossible distances Not one sitting missed Blows exchanged properly Investigators made while you wait Lessons retained Papers kept in order Persons supplied The circle's wall Weather supplied Discretion assured Interruptions staged
